MAKE STRATEGY MOVE™
A Leadership Working Session to Create a Unified Strategy
Turn competing leadership messages into one clear story that drives decisions and action.
For one live strategic initiative | 8 to 20 leaders | $20,000 plus travel
Your Strategy Should Drive ResultsA clear strategy can still create drag.
One executive calls it a growth move. Another calls it a cost decision. A third explains it as a culture shift. Managers fill in the gaps. Teams make different trade-offs. The strategy keeps moving, but the meaning does not stay intact.
Make Strategy Move™ gives the leadership team the time, structure, and language to resolve those differences and turn the strategy into results.
When leaders are sending competing messages about a critical strategy, Make Strategy Move™ aligns them around one clear, credible story that drives consistent decisions and action across the organization.
Is Your Strategy Falling Apart in Translation?
Leaders agree with the strategy but explain it in noticeably different ways.
Employees keep asking what the change means for their role.
Managers are improvising answers because the official message is too broad.
A launch, integration, restructuring, or adoption effort is losing momentum.
The executive team is spending time correcting interpretations after messages go out.
Important decisions are still being made with the old strategy in mind.
The sponsor needs the leadership team to communicate with more clarity and credibility.
Built for Leaders Whose Strategy Cannot Afford to Stall
Make Strategy Move™ is for the executive responsible for a strategy that must survive contact with the rest of the organization.
CEOs and business-unit leaders
Chief People Officers and senior HR leaders
Chief Strategy Officers and transformation leaders
Chief Communications Officers and internal communications leaders
Integration, operating-model, AI adoption, and enterprise change sponsors
The engagement focuses on one live initiative.
It works best when the sponsor can name the leadership group, the decisions that must change, and the consequences of continued confusion.
When the Next Move Is Too Important for Mixed Messages
Make Strategy Move™ is designed for the moments that matter:
A new strategy or leadership direction
Rapid growth, funding, or expansion
AI, technology, or digital adoption
A merger, acquisition, or integration
A restructuring or operating-model change
A culture, service, or customer-experience reset

How Make Strategy Move™ Gets the Strategy Moving
We uncover where meaning is breaking down, bring leaders together around one shared story, and turn that story into clear decisions and coordinated action across the organization.
Typical engagement length: 6 to 8 weeks from sponsor intake through the workshop and immediate debrief, followed by the 30-day learning review.
-
We begin with the sponsor, the strategy, and the messages already in circulation. A focused pulse and up to three stakeholder interviews show where leaders agree, where meaning changes, and where the strategy is losing momentum.
Sponsor intake and success definition
Review of core strategy and communication materials
Focused participant pulse
Up to three stakeholder interviews
Strategy-drag and meaning-gap diagnosis
-
Our experts design and facilitate a full-day working session for 8 to 20 leaders. The group works through the story, the tensions inside it, the decisions it must guide, and the signals people need to see.

Surface competing meanings and unresolved questions
Build the Core Strategy Story
Map the story to decisions, behaviors, and audiences

-
The sponsor receives a debrief, the final leadership tools, and a 30-day plan. The learning review looks at what leaders used, where the story held, where it changed, and what the next decision requires.

-
Assign owners, moments, evidence, and follow-through.
Start with the Strategy Drag Scan™
⚙️
Start with the Strategy Drag Scan™ ⚙️
The Strategy Drag Scan™ reveals where a critical strategy is losing clarity, credibility, or momentum as it moves through leadership and into daily work.
It reviews five conditions:
Strategic clarity
Leadership consistency
Decision translation
Reinforcement
Sponsor capacity.
The readout identifies the most important sources of drag, the conditions that are already strong, and the next best move. Qualified sponsors receive a one-page drag snapshot.
If the initiative is still undefined, the sponsor cannot participate, or the leadership group is unavailable, the Strategy Drag Scan™ will name the condition to resolve before scheduling the workshop.
Strategy Drag Scan™ Investment: $2,500
The full fee is credited toward Make Strategy Move™ when the engagement is contracted within 60 days.
It may be included by invitation for sponsor-qualified organizations actively considering the full engagement.

Travel and approved out-of-pocket expenses are billed separately for in-person delivery.
Final scope, schedule, payment terms, and participant requirements are governed by the signed agreement.
People Act on the Meaning They Construct
A strategy document can describe the direction. Leaders still have to help people understand what the direction means, what it changes, and what choices belong to it.
Story gives the strategy a structure people can remember. Leadership signals give it credibility. Repeated decisions give it proof.
Make Strategy Move™ brings those pieces together around one live initiative.
From Scattered Effort to Strategic Growth
How strategic storytelling consulting helped ClinEssentials streamline operations, increase visibility, and drive real revenue.
Tiffany Ashton, CEO of ClinEssentials, came in with strong ideas but no clear direction on how to focus her team, streamline execution, or turn activity into consistent revenue.
Like many growing companies, her team was doing a lot… but not always the right things.
Through ongoing strategic storytelling consulting, we worked together to:
Prioritize high-impact initiatives instead of chasing everything at once
Build systems for follow-up, visibility, and client engagement
Continuously adjust strategy based on real-time market shifts
Create accountability structures that ensured execution, not just planning
Our Active, Multi-Year Partnership Revitalized the Business
The result was a more focused team, streamlined operations, and an additional $40,000 in quarterly profit driven by clearer strategy and consistent execution.
Client-reported results are not guarantees. Value depends on sponsor participation, leadership access, implementation, and the conditions inside the organization.
